Common signs of a haunting are:

• Faulty electrics - Consistently blown light bulbs throughout the house, television turning on and off or channels changing on their own.
• Smells - Commonly the smell of off meat is experienced when there is no physical sign of this in the home. Other strong smells may also be consistent such as perfume, cigar s etc. usually consistent with a particular room.
• Sensing sudden changes to the temperature of the room or inexplicable drafts.
• Headaches or pain when in a particular room.
• External cold or heat, goose bumps or electrical sensations on the skin.
• The feeling of someone sitting or standing next to you. Pressure on the chest when lying in bed.
• Thoughts which are out of character such as violent, sexually perverse or just plain bad.
• Objects being moved or flying around the room.
• Banging noises such as door or window knocking, scraping etc.
• External voices but not remembering what was said.
• Seeing flashes of light or orbs (circular light)

If you are experiencing any of these signs be please calm and rational. Always look for logical explanations. If your light bulbs are blowing then it may be an actual electrical problem. If you find you are experiencing more than two or three of the listed signs then you most likely are experiencing a haunting or energy imprint.

What is an Energy Imprint?
An energy imprint is an accumulation of energy that has gathered over a period of time and remained with the dwelling. An example may be a building which has transformed from a bakery to a retail shop. The shop assistant may experience the smell of bread baking or excessive heat where the ovens once were. This may not even bother the shop assistant apart from making them hungry. An energy imprint is a past happening which has been caught in time. It often causes no harm maybe just concern for the current tenants involved.

What is a Haunting?
A haunting is different from an energy imprint. It is often a soul that has failed to move on after death. The reason may be out of fear, self judgement, attachment to the living or any other reason a person may not want to move out of their home. These souls are stuck and sometimes just need to be shown the way back to the light; however some can be difficult and not want to leave.

• There may be more than one soul in a property and often they do not know each other.
• You may have souls come and go.
• Animals can haunt a property as well as people.
• Souls are just the same as when they were alive, so if they were nice when living the same in death and vice versa.
• You may end up with a combination of an energy imprint and a haunting.
• The living and the dead may coexist.
• New buildings can be haunted.

Things to try before calling us

• Try to make notes of what is going on and if your experiences are happening at a particular time of day and in a particular room or if it is in general.
• Cleanse your space by opening windows, letting light in, vacuum and clean.
• Use a sage stick or incense in each room, a white candle to break up energy and absorb anything unwanted. Ask for what is troubling you to be taken away.
• Take yourself into nature, a park or the beach. Centre yourself by sitting quietly alone and visualising or feeling violet light flowing through your body. Use this technique at home.
• Do not smoke drugs, yes it may sound funny but marijuana is dreadful for the energy field. It creates holes which allow astral and discarnate beings into your aura. If you are a user I doubt I will be able to help you. If I clear and seal your energy you will only open it up again.
• Go back to your belief system. IF you were brought up Catholic or Buddhist then use your faith for protection. It does not matter if you are not practising it now, in our hour of need we all go back to what was instilled with us i.e. that may be buying a cross or statue and asking spirit for protection. If you do not ask it will not happen.
